We have been working in the wedding and event planning industry for over 15 years! We were started with the goal of making visions a reality. Nicole Smith is a Senior Certified Wedding Planner from The Bridal Society with over 12 years of event planning experience. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 with a Business Degree in Marketing. Nicole started out as a Banquet Server at The Sanderling Resort and Spa then moved up to Sales Manager of the Wedding market, she has seen every aspect of the event planning process. She can relate to both the vendor and the client. Also, Nicole has spent over 7 years with a Marriott property perfecting large scale events. Vision Events was started by Nicole’s passion to provide hospitality, service, and expertise to every event.  Nicole attends many continuing educations courses and conferences through The Bridal Society and Wedding Wire for professional development.  She is actively involved in networking events to stay connected with local vendors. Nicole is also a Manager within The Bridal Society coordinating national networking events and she is the Vice President of the Sandhills Weddings & Events Association.

Nicole is married with 2 kids and lives in Sanford, NC


Jenn is a Certified Wedding Planner from The Bridal Society and has a passion for the entire process of planning weddings and events – from getting to know each client and their story to designing, organizing and ultimately, bringing their dreams to life. She loves incorporating clients’ various cultures and traditions into each event to ensure that their wedding is the unique, timeless affair they envisioned.

She graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a degree in Business Marketing and has since discovered that her natural skills and talents are best suited for event planning. Her upbeat personality, attention to detail and focus on logistics make the perfect match for coordinating a stress-free event.  

Jenn is married with 2 children and lives in Southern Pines.
